Grants and Scholarships

The Ngai Tukairangi Trust is committed to providing our beneficiaries, shareholders, their children and in some cases, the community at large with funding to support their endeavours through scholarships and grants. 

 

Tertiary Education Grant and the Tertiary Excellence Scholarship
Applications for Tertiary Education grants and the Excellence Scholarship  will be available in the new year. The closing date for applications will be 31st March.
Email grants@ngaituk.co.nz to send out an application when they are availablle.

Kaumatua (70+) Health Grant

Applications will be received by Waipu Hauora from shareholders 70 years of age or above. These funds can be used for medication, equipment and disability aids, assisted living, foot care, eye, ear, dental treatment, travel costs, parking permit cards, healthy homes installation, mammograms. Grants made subject to the available funds in the total pool.

Community Grant

A Community Grant is available to provide assistance to recognise and support the efforts of community groups in their endeavours. Priority for this fund goes to shareholder interests, and those groups associated with Matapihi. Applications are open all year round. Applications are open all year round. Once funds are expended, no further allocations will be made that year.

Sports and Cultural Grant

Provides financial support for shareholders & beneficiaries  competing in an event, or representing their school in a regional, national or international event or competition. Applications are open all year round. Once funds are expended, no further allocations will be made that year.
  • The Sports Grant Fund has been expended for 2017, no further applications will be accepted this year
